INGRID ROSARIO - BIO

For those who have ever heard a song interpreted by Ingrid Rosario, have recognized that behind her powerful voice lays an unfolding, divine plan of God. Blessed with one of the industry’s greatest voices, Ingrid has crossed all stylistic, social and age barriers with her inspirational and powerful music.
At the age of 15, Ingrid arrives to Miami, Florida from Los Angeles, California. Upon her arrival, she made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as her Savior. While working in her church’s youth group and choir, she goes on to discover her singing ability. This eventually launches her music ministry.

From 1994 through 1998, Ingrid pursued her undergraduate degree in Health Education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was granted a scholarship due to her involvement in Light Ministries, the missions’ arm at Liberty University. While being a part of this evangelistic singing group, she traveled to several countries such as the Philippines, England and India. An opportunity then knocks on her door when Integrity Music asked her to record along with Ron Kenoly (“Majesty” in 1997) at Liberty University. She is then asked to join "Women of Faith" and Benny Hinn's Evangelistic Crusades throughout Ecuador, Colombia, Spain, El Salvador, Guatemala, Argentina, Chile, Honduras and Panama. This went on without having an album to her name until the opportunity presented itself to record “Canta al Señor” (Shout to the Lord in Spanish). This project has continued to be a success to Ingrid as it was to Darlene Zschech. In Expolit Miami 2001, Mercado Cristiano, a prestigious Christian Spanish magazine, awarded Ingrid Rosario “Revelation of the Year” artist.

Ingrid has recorded two solo productions with Integrity Hosanna Music. The first album was recorded in 1999 entitled: “Canta al Señor” (Shout to the Lord) and her second recording in 2001 entitled: “Fe” (Faith). She also collaborated along with Danny Driggs in his recording “Por Siempre te Alabaré” (I will Forever Praise your Name). Other recordings include “Hazme un Instrumento” and “A Viva Voz” from United Bible Societies. “Ahora es el Tiempo” is also another recording that Ingrid contributed to for Cumina Missionary Ministries.

In May 2002, Ingrid was invited to sing the National Anthem and “The Lord’s Prayer” in Washington DC, at the "First National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast" in which President George W. Bush was invited as a special speaker. Ingrid currently appears on TBN and Daystar on numerous programs around the World.

She was honored for her contribution of spreading the gospel throughout the community with her music. In January 2004, Ingrid was granted one of her greatest wishes when the legendary Andraé Crouch invited her to participate in his 2005 recording. Ingrid has also shared platforms with other distinguished men and women such as: Mary Alessi, Martha Munizzi, Cindy Cruse Ratcliff, Alberto Motessi, Dante Gebel, Sergio Enriquez and many others.

In February 2004, Ingrid was awarded the “Best Female Vocalist” award by Premios Nuestra Música (Our Music Awards). In March 2004, she was nominated once again as “Best Female Vocalist” by Premios La Conquista (The Conquering Awards). Shortly after, Ingrid was nominated for the “Dove Award” through her recording “Exitos de Hoy” (Today’s Hits) for “Eres Mi Respirar” (This is the Air I Breathe) from Word Music.

Ingrid captured the heart of the American market before having ever recorded an English album. She has participated in evangelistic crusades with powerful ministries such as: Benny Hinn, John Hagee, Paula White, Nikki Cruz, Mark Chironna, Perry Stone, Rich Wilkerson, Paul and Jan Crouch, Matt and Lori Crouch, Kenneth Ulmer, David Demola, and in several Women of Faith Conferences.

One of Ingrid’s greatest qualities is to captivate the nonbeliever through her songs and take the believer to a higher level of worship. Her individuality was prominent when she appeared on Time/Life TV with the “Songs for Worship” project in Spanish. A project that reached the top places within the Secular and Christian Audiences.
In August 2007, Ingrid released her first English album entitled “All I Desire”. Later on that same year, she recorded her latest album with Rejoice Music entitled “Mi Salvación” (My Salvation). This album is a collaboration of pure praise and worship that paints a portrait of the great sacrifice of Jesus. Also, in 2009 Mi Salvacion was nominated for a Dove Award in the Best Spanish Album category.
In June 2009, Ingrid was once again invited to participate in the National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C. where the President of United States, Barack Obama was the keynote speaker. This event marks the ministry of Ingrid Rosario as one of the most recognized within latin christian music, as she has had the opportunity to share with numerous presidents, political leaders and other personalities in the US, Latin America and throughout the world.
Ingrid possesses one of the most powerful and captivating voices in Christian music today. One of her greatest attributes is to not only to sing with her voice, but with her heart. She enjoys sharing her music all over the world as she fulfills God’s purpose in her life. However, her greatest joy is seeing people come to the Lord and enter into His presence through worship. This is where true miracles happen. She currently resides in Miami, Florida along with her husband Anthony Lopez, and attends Metro Life Church with Pastors Steve and Mary Alessi.
